The Philadelphia Bar Foundation’s Executive Director, Jessica Hilburn-Holmes, described the critical need for civil legal aid services and explained how the new Equal Justice Center (EJC) will help a group of civil legal aid organization better meet the needs of low-income Philadelphians. She shared that the EJC will improve the basic infrastructure of how legal aid services are delivered, allowing its tenants to more effectively fight poverty, challenge systems that perpetuate injustice, and improve lives.
