Video: The Philadelphia Equal Justice Center

Our new video about the Equal Justice Center in Philadelphia includes footage of the teams at Community Legal Services, Philadelphia Legal Assistance, SeniorLAW Center, and the Center for Advocacy for the Rights & Interests of the Elderly, a few of the nonprofit tenant partners that will be located in the building.

By providing a central building, the EJC will permanently transform the capacity of the city’s legal aid system to sustain and improve its operations and enhance its ability to meet client needs. A shared physical location will create operational efficiencies and collaborative program opportunities, freeing up much-needed resources for direct client services. 

The video highlights the importance of raising financial support for the project, as the EJC depends in part on philanthropic funding from individuals and institutions who care about transforming the way Philadelphia will provide civil legal aid services to those in need.
